I got a text today from a guy I work with that said “I’m so glad we can always talk text messages now” I just smiled and said “You know if that happens, it’s going to happen.
That text message is from the guy that I work with, not me.

But even a non-native speaker can pick up on the subtle difference between You and You have sent me here by using an emoticon.
