People put these on their front doors to let light in, but have them close to obstruct the sun. You won’t notice that you are blocking the sun, its just that the shade is blocking light.
You should put these on your doors when you are not doing any work. This is probably a no-brainer, yet most of us don’t do it. We are too used to open windows to block the sun. It’s only a minor inconvenience, however.
Yeah, but its a huge inconvenience. It is only a small window, and the sun can still get through. It’s not like you have to look at it, but the mere fact that you are seeing it makes you feel like you are being watched. There’s nothing a concession window can do to prevent the sun from getting through, so the very fact that you are seeing it makes you feel like you are being watched.

In the real world, people often say, “I don’t wear sunscreen,” or “I don’t need to,” or “I prefer not to,” or “I’ll just use my head.” In the game, however, it’s a different story. You can choose to not tan your face. You can choose to not cover your ears. You can choose to just be outside.
The game has an in-game option that lets you choose to look at the sun or not, but this is optional. So you can choose, or you can opt to just be outside. Even if you choose to just be outside, you’re still not out of the sun. You’ll still have to deal with the heat of the sun. You’ll still be exposed to the sun from all directions.
