Demi Kristian is one of those musicians who can be extremely hard to categorize. From the time I was first introduced to her in high school, I was amazed at the range of styles she could create. She just keeps on evolving from one genre to another. I’ve discovered over the years that she is a master at working with all types of rhythms, from the subtle to the loud.
Demi Kristian, a.k.a. Demi K., is one of the most dynamic and talented musicians I’ve encountered in my entire life. Her music is as diverse as her style is. She has released several albums in the past, some of which I think are some of the best of all time. I really cant think of her without the “Demi K.” in front of it (maybe thats because I’m a fan).
Demi K. has been on a personal journey as of late. It started with her work with The Raconteurs, where she was a member. She then went on to release a number of records with her own band. Eventually she joined with David Bowie for a full-length version of “Heroes.” Demi K. began to do music full time in 2006, and in 2008 she released her first full-length album “Gorilla.
Demi continues to inspire me. She has been my favorite rapper ever since I was a teenager. I’m a huge fan of her work, and this album is absolutely incredible. It has been on my “must have” list since I was a teenager, and it’s one of those albums that just keeps getting better and better. I’m not going to spoil it too much by telling you “It’s better than Nirvana,” because it really is.
This is one of those albums that will leave you wanting more. K. is an absolute perfectionist, and the songs here are some of the most well written, epic performances I have ever heard. She has a way with words that I admire. I also love the fact that she uses the typical hip-hop formula of a simple, yet powerful hook that builds and builds to a climax. Its really hard to believe that you have to listen to this album over and over again to enjoy it.
K. has a voice of pure emotion. I know that I can count on her to do something spectacular. She has the ability to bring out the best in people, and she does a great job of it here. I actually think that the other vocalists on this album are doing a better job of conveying the emotion to the listener in their vocals than she is.
I think that the album is one of the most underrated albums of the year. In the first full song of the album, “Kris-It”, she sings about a man who wants a woman who would do anything for him and has made no bones about his feelings for her. The album ends with a song called “Demi-Kris” which is an acoustic version of the hook.
There aren’t many people who don’t feel this way about Demi K. Kris Kristian is a great example. The singer for the legendary ska-punk band, the Beastie Boys, has been through some pretty rough times in the last few years, and while she has always been a great musician, she has also had her share of tragedy.
I love her, and I am happy she is still around. She is a great example of the human condition, and the song is a great reminder of what is possible for a woman who will do anything for a man. But it also shows that sometimes, people change. They lose their morals and become more like who they were before. I think this, along with Demi kristian’s story, is what made me start this blog.
Last night’s film trailer for the third movie in the “demi kristian” trilogy, “Dissension” showed us that even the best of us sometimes lose their sense of self. It’s a reminder that we can find our own way.
