The reason we’re mad is because the Instagram account which is the very last to delete was the one that was set up to share our videos on Instagram with the rest of the world. So just as it was not just his own Instagram account that was hacked to the bone, but the entire network of Instagram was stolen. The reason why instagram does all this is because it’s in their best interest to allow users to share their own personal photos and videos with their followers on Facebook.
Apparently, a hacker made a lot of the Instagram accounts and accounts that were set up to share videos and photos on there disappear. This is not the first time someone has done this, and it won’t be the last time either. This is because Instagram’s security is very lax, and it’s almost always the last to do something that could be easily traced back to them.
The problem is that Instagram has been under scrutiny before, but never this extensive. This time, the hackers decided to make people wonder what is up with their accounts all over the internet. Of course, no one wanted to share their own photo or video with their followers on Facebook, so you’re left with a bunch of blank wall posts and the creepy voice of a girl saying, “I’d prefer to stick to my own personal space,” and then disappear.
If you don’t think Instagram is a big enough site, here’s what you can do to find out for yourself. Go to instagram.com and look through their privacy settings. If you see a row of “x” symbols, click on the icon for “Hide my Timeline.” If you see an “on” symbol, click on that to make sure that it’s not a message from your phone.
