The red flag I’m referring to is the one that causes people to think “if I could just remember what’s going on in my brain at any given time, I’d be super-effective at life”. This is, I guess, a great way to describe the feeling of being on autopilot, or at least something most people experience. This is where I personally find it hard to put into words.
Sure, I’m not the best at this. I’m not even the best at describing what I’m feeling, and I am prone to blurting out the wrong thing at the wrong time. But I definitely do find it helpful to describe something as black-and-white as my feelings.
I think this is a good description of the feeling of being on autopilot. It helps when you’re still learning how to control your thoughts and emotions, especially when you’re still figuring out what you want to do.
But Im not sure I would say that what I feel is black-and-white. I think I would have to say it is more like a grey-and-yellow. I dont think it is at all black-and-white. I don’t think it is white-and-yellow either. But it is close enough for what I feel.
The difference between black-and-white and grey-and-yellow are not black-and-white and grey-and-yellow. They are just different shades of grey. It is that same feeling of being stuck in a time loop.
I think what you feel is close enough to grey-and-yellow, because there is no black-and-white. And that is what I see when I look at your post. And that is what I feel you describe as the feeling you describe. But I think you’re not trying to be precise enough to be exact. Because the reality is that we all have a mixture of feelings and black-and-white is the best place to be.
And that is something we all experience every day. We also experience feelings of being stuck in a time loop. But I don’t think that’s the point you are trying to make. I think you are trying to say a person who feels that way can choose to be more precise. But I don’t think that is the point you are trying to explain. The point is that a person who feels that way can choose to be much more precise. That isn’t a deal breaker.

In some cases, you might have the right to terminate the company and walk away, but you don’t always have that right.
