Install The Authenticator
The first step is to install an Authenticator on your phone. To do this:
- Go to the Google Play Store or the App Store and search for Authy.
- Once you have installed the Authy app, could you open it and click Add Account?
- Select Other from the list of options and then enter KuCoin as the name of the service.
- Enter your username and password when prompted.
Enter that into the field that asks for a verification code. You should see Successfully Added at the top of the screen. Click Enable 2FA to start using 2FA on your account!

Change All Passwords
If you haven’t already, now is the time to change all of your passwords. This includes your KuCoin account and any other accounts that may be linked to it. If you haven’t at this point, this is the best way to open the door to change your passwords in general. This consolidates your KuCoin account and any different records that could be associated with it. To do this, go to the Settings tab and select Change Password.
